Songtsiala - China National Symphony Orchestra [CNSO]

Songtsiala - Composed by Ding Xiaoli
- Composed by famous Chinese composer Ding Xiaoli. Songtsiala combines elements of both Tibetan folk music and folk songs in the 1950s. Familiar and vividly depicts elated happiness and colorful festivities.
- Combining folk folk elements and artfully creating a distinct lively Tibetan style. Songtsiala is an original Tibetan symphony alive with the many exotic beauties on the Tibetan Plateau. Part of its melody comes from local folk songs, simple, strong, and high spirited. Keeping the original folk elements intact, Songtsiala expands surging with unconstrained passion. In the same time, Songtsiala absorbs traditional Tibetan tap dance music elements. Entering the latter half of the music, percussion and wind instruments give life to the high-spirited festivities depicting group dancing in a quick pace. Listening to the music, we follow the inherent great vigor to reach an emotional climax typical of a traditional Tibetan festival occasion.
