Οι πρώτες σκαλωσιές μπήκαν στις 6 Ιουλίου 2015 προκειμένου να δοθεί στην Παναγία Χρυσοκέφαλο της Τραπεζούντας η παλιά βυζαντινή της αίγλη. Το πλάνο ήταν οι εργασίες να ολοκληρωθούν τον Νοέμβριο του 2016, ωστόσο έναν χρόνο μετά το αρχικό χρονοδιάγραμμα νέα ευρήματα έρχονται στο φως.

The 15th Anniversary is another starting point for a career playing the ocarina.

Ocarina A-Zhi has returned to where he started to recapture the feeling he had at the beginning.

He has reinterpreted his “Forest Fantasia” in a “Forest version” and created a new quartet arrangement for it, too.

Το "Actopolis - The art of action" είναι ένα project του Goethe-Institut σε συνεργασία με τον οργανισμό Urbane Künste Ruhr. Πρόκειται για ένα κάλεσμα για δράση και συν-διαχείριση της πόλης - πέρα από ειδικότητες, εθνικά σύνορα και πολιτιστικές διαφορές. 

Καλλιτέχνες, πολεοδόμοι και ακτιβιστές από την Αθήνα, το Βελιγράδι, το Βουκουρέστι, την Άγκυρα και το Μαρντίν, το Ομπερχάουζεν, το Σαράγιεβο και το Ζάγκρεμπ ένωσαν τις δυνάμεις τους σε ένα τριετές διεθνές εργαστήριο παραγωγής για την ευαισθητοποίηση πάνω σε τρέχοντα αστικά θέματα, για την έναρξη νέων συζητήσεων και τη μετατροπή τόπων σε χώρους παιχνιδιού και πειραματισμού, όπου όλα είναι δυνατά. 

Τα έργα που υλοποιήθηκαν παρουσιάζονται σε μια περιοδεύουσα έκθεση που ταξιδεύει σε έντεκα πόλεις, παρέχοντας την αφορμή για την προσθήκη νέων έργων, οπτικών και θεμάτων προς διερεύνηση.

Face Forward …into my home is an interactive art project focused on the stories of people who have been forced to leave their homelands and are rebuilding their life in Greece. It includes storytelling workshops inspired by a selection of contemporary artworks from the collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens (EMST), the photo shooting of portraits, and a photography exhibition about and with refugees and asylum-seekers, now living in the greater Athens area, benefitting from ESTIA, the Emergency Support To Integration and Accommodation programme implemented by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and funded by the European Commission.

A Hawk and a Hacksaw is an American folk duo from Albuquerque, New Mexico, currently signed to L.M. Dupli-cation. The band consists of accordionist Jeremy Barnes, who was previously the drummer for Neutral Milk Hotel and Bablicon, and violinist Heather Trost. The music is inspired by Eastern European, Turkish and Balkan traditions, and is mostly instrumental. They have released six albums and have toured internationally. The first four albums and an E.P. were released on The Leaf Label and afterwards on their own label L. M. Duplication.

Ο ναός του Προφήτη Ηλία Θεσσαλονίκης

Όταν αναφερόμαστε στο χώρο και στην ατμόσφαιρα του βυζαντινού ναού, χρειάζεται απαραίτητα να λάβουμε υπόψη μας και το φως. Μέσα από τη χριστιανική φιλοσοφία, φιλολογία και τη δογματική των Πατέρων της Εκκλησίας, οργανώθηκε η αισθητική του φωτός στον βυζαντινό ναό με συγκεκριμένο τρόπο.

Ο γεωμετρικός σχεδιασμός του Προφήτη Ηλία ακολούθησε παλαιότερα πρότυπα, όπως είναι ο ναός της Αγίας Σοφίας Κωνσταντινουπόλεως και το καθολικό της Μεγίστης Λαύρας.

Στην αρχή της άνοιξης (Μάρτιος) οι πρώτες ακτίνες του ήλιου εισχωρούν από τα παράθυρα του τρούλου με κατεύθυνση το δυτικό σφαιρικό τρίγωνο και τον Μάιο από τα παράθυρα της βόρειας κόγχης με κατεύθυνση το μέσο του χώρου. Αργότερα (Μάιος, ώρα 09:00) το φως εισχωρεί από το τρίλοβο παράθυρο του ιερού και φωτίζει την Αγία Τράπεζα.

while the headlines blare on about the distractions du jour, we are now witnessing the highest levels of displacement **on record**. an unprecedented 65.6 million people around the world have been forced from their homes. among them are nearly 22.5 million refugees, over half of whom are under the age of 18. this past spring of 2017, i traveled to lesvos, greece, where i worked with a small NGO and saw the continual plight of families and children living in limbo with a scarcity of help and resources while the world marches on without paying attention.

meanwhile, i worked on this song recorded in tasmania, australia, with generous assistance from the MONA museum and began an brainstorm and partnership with the spanish performance artist abel azcona. we recruited dozens of volunteers from across spain, france, the UK and elsewhere in europe to take part in the performance. these volunteers weren’t professional actors, they simply answered our call and wanted to loan their time and hearts to this cause. the video was filmed on location in tarragona, spain. we cannot thank the volunteers enough for their travel, time and generosity in making this clip.

 Η πρώτη ατομική έκθεση του Anton Vidokle στην Ελλάδα, με τίτλο "Αθανασία για όλους: Μια τριλογία ταινιών για τον Ρωσικό Κοσμισμό.

Συνδυάζοντας την αφήγηση, το ντοκιμαντέρ και την περφόρμανς, ο Vidokle χρησιμοποιεί τα γραπτά του ιδρυτή του Κοσμισμού Nikolai Fedorov αλλά και άλλων φιλοσόφων και ποιητών. Η περιφερόμενη του κάμερα ψάχνει τα απομεινάρια της τέχνης, της αρχιτεκτονικής και της μηχανικής της Σοβιετικής εποχής,  μετακινούμενη από τις στέπες του Καζακστάν στα μουσεία της Μόσχας. Μουσική από τους John Cale και Eliane Radigue συνοδεύει αυτές τις καταπληκτικές εικόνες, προκαλώντας την λαχτάρα για συνοχή, κοινωνική ισότητα, υλική μεταμόρφωση και αθανασία που αποτελούν τα βασικά στοιχεία της Κοσμικής σκέψης.

Ο Φειδίας γεννήθηκε στις αρχές του 5ου αιώνα στην Αθήνα. Ήταν γιος του Χαρμίδη, συγγενής του ζωγράφου Πάναινου και στενός συνεργάτης του Περικλή. Ο Φειδίας υπήρξε ο μεγαλύτερος γλύπτη της ελληνικής αρχαιότητας και ο σημαντικότερος της Κλασικής εποχής, κατά την οποία και άκμασε η τέχνη του.

Ο Φειδίας, εκτός από τα αρχιτεκτονικά γλυπτά του Παρθενώνα φιλοτέχνησε και άλλα σημαντικά έργα που επηρέασαν καθοριστικά τους σύγχρονους & μεταγενέστερους γλύπτες. Ανάμεσά τους συγκαταλέγονται δύο από τα μεταγενέστερα έργα του Φειδία, τα οποία ξεχώρισαν στην αρχαία Ελλάδα, τα χρυσελεφάντινα λατρευτικά αγάλματα του Δία στην Ολυμπία και της Αθηνάς Παρθένου στην Ακρόπολη. Τα αγάλματα αυτά ήταν φτιαγμένα από ελεφαντόδοντο και θεωρήθηκαν κορυφαία της τέχνης της αρχαίας Ελλάδας. Πολλά αντίγραφα έχουν δημιουργηθεί από τότε, ενώ θα πρέπει να γνωρίζουμε πως τα γλυπτά στα μουσεία μας είναι κυρίως ρωμανικά αντίγραφα, φτιαγμένα για συλλέκτες και ιδιώτες που τα αγόραζαν για ενθύμιο και για να διακοσμούν δημόσιους κήπους και λουτρά.

2 sets con Oscar es un álbum en vivo del músico venezolano Oscar D' León acompañado de su orquesta, la Salsa Mayor. Fue editado en 1977 por la disquera Top Hits en formato larga duración de vinilo a 33⅓ rpm. Fue el segundo disco de D' León en solitario tras su salida de la Dimensión Latina y produjo dos de las canciones más conocidas de D' León: El manicero, Huele a quemao, compuesta por el cantante, y Mata Siguaraya, una versión del clásico interpretado por Benny Moré.
