30ο Πανόραμα Ευρωπαϊκού Κινηματογράφου

Το Πανόραμα Ευρωπαϊκού Κινηματογράφου, το μακροβιότερο φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου της Αθήνας, τριαντάρισε, ωρίμασε αλλά διατηρεί άσβεστη τη δίψα του για τις καλές ευρωπαϊκές ταινίες. Πανέτοιμο να γοητεύσει και φέτος τους λάτρεις του καλού ευρωπαϊκού και ελληνικού κινηματογράφου, σηκώνει αυλαία την Τετάρτη 18 Οκτωβρίου στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών (7.30 μ.μ.). Θα προβάλλει το βωβό αριστούργημα «Μισαλλοδοξία» (“Intolerance: Love’s Struggle Throughout the Ages”, 1916) του D.W.Griffith, με ζωντανή μουσική συνοδεία από το Νίκο Πλάτανο.

An exhibition of street photography by Raghubir Singh, considered India’s greatest photographer, will be on view at Howard Greenberg Gallery from October 26 – December 9, 2017. Pulsating with dramatic compositions and his characteristically controlled use of color, BOMBAY focuses on one of the artist’s most significant body of work.  Made in the early 1990s, it led to his book Bombay: Gateway of India, Aperture, 1994. The exhibition coincides with a retrospective at the Met Breuer entitled Modernism on the Ganges: Raghubir Singh Photographs from October 11, 2017 – January 2, 2018. An opening reception at Howard Greenberg Gallery will be held on Thursday, October 26 from 6-8 p.m.
