Barcelona’s ethnographic collections united with opening of World Culture Museum

A museum dedicated to the art of Africa, Asia, Oceania and America, is due to open in Barcelona this week, 7 February. The Museum of World Cultures in the El Born neighbourhood near the Museu Picasso, will house the collection of the city’s Ethnological Museum, which closed in 2012, as well as objects from private Catalan collections.
