Ragam Behag- Anantha Krishnan and Ahsan Ali-HCL Maestros in Studio Live @TPS

Ragam Behag

Ananth Krishnan on violin and Ahsan Ali on Sarangi, explore the beauty of Ragam Behag.

Ahsan Ali

Ahsan is a sixth generation musician from the Kirana Gharana. Trained by his father
Ustad Asif Ali Khan, Ahsan Ali is one of the leading sarangi players of his time.

Anantha Krishnan
Violinists of the Parur school are known for their bowing techniques, precise notes and dexterity at playing three-and-a-half octaves. M.S. Anantha Krishnan is a fine example of the above as well a worthy torch bearer of the style. His beautiful accompaniment with Sikkil Gurucharan (Vocal), Sandeep Narayan (Vocal) and Bharat Sunder (Vocal) in Season 1 of 'HCL Maestros in Studio Live @TPS' is a treat to the ears.
