The album "Construção" was released in 1971 during the Brazilian military dictatorship, and several of its lyrics are in fact a strong criticism against the regime, as is the case of "Cordão", and also the homonymous and epic "Construção", although the latter is more about the undignified condition of the common laborer of that time. "Construção" is one of the most emblematic Brazilian songs of all times, and describes the last day of the life of a construction worker who dies while working, but his death is seen as little more than an annoyance that slows the traffic...
