When we were telling people that, somewhere in the east, there's a stunning postcard looking tropical place, where a deep cowboy culture and exotic asian traditions blend flawlessly, not many of them believed us. We had the chance to be in Masbate for 6 days during the powerful (southern US inspired) Rodeo Festival. An immersive trip made of island hopping, horse riding, food exploring, and most of all, amazing people.
