ΒΑΣΙΛΙΚΗ ΜΑΤΤΑ ΑΤΟΜΙΚΗ ΕΚΘΕΣΗ "3 + 2"

Μια πρωτότυπη έκθεση της Βασιλικής Μάττα εγκαινιάζεται στη "Ζώγια", στην οδό Αλ. Σβώλου 54, την Πέμπτη, 6 Απριλίου 2017, στις 21.00. Στην έκθεση "3 + 2", που θα διαρκέσει από 3 μέχρι τις 18 Απριλίου, παρουσιάζονται συνολικά πέντε έργα με μεγάλη χρονική απόσταση μεταξύ τους. Τα τρία παλαιότερα έχουν ως κύριο θέμα τον πυρήνα - κυψέλη, να περικυκλώνει, να κρύβει και να ορίζει επίπεδα. Στα πρόσφατα έργα η επαναλαμβανόμενη γραφή, το μοτίβο ορίζουν χώρο και σχήμα.

ΕΚΘΕΣΗ "ΑΓΑΠΗΜΕΝΟ ΜΟΥ ΠΟΔΗΛΑΤΟ"

Το Ολυμπιακό Μουσείο παρουσιάζει μια έκθεση αφιερωμένη στο άθλημα της ποδηλασίας. Η νέα περιοδική έκθεση με τίτλο "Αγαπημένο μου ποδήλατο…" διοργανώθηκε με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 200 ετών από την εφεύρεση του πρώτου ποδηλάτου. Έκτοτε, το ποδήλατο έχει γίνει μέρος της καθημερινότητας εκατομμυρίων ανθρώπων σε όλο τον κόσμο και χρησιμοποιείται για την ψυχαγωγία, την άθληση και τη μετακίνησή τους.

Nepal: The Country and the People

Situated in the world’s highest mountain range, the Himalayas, Nepal is the home of the Mount Everest. It is a Hindu kingdom with nearly 21 million inhabitants, of which approximately three quarters are Hindus, the rest Buddhists and some animists belonging to the aboriginal communities. The majority of the population are of two distinct racial stocks: the Mongolians from the north and the Aryans from the south. The blending of these two main races, with the isolation of the mountain habitations at varying altitudes up to eight or nine thousand feet, has produced a number of ethnic sub groups, each with special aptitudes and particular social habits. For example, the Gurkhas and the Gurungs, living in the oak and pine valleys at an altitude of more than seven thousand feet, are well known for their prowess in the battlefield. In comparison, the Newars, the earlier inhabitants of the Kathmandu valley at about four thousand and five hundred feet in southern Nepal with large forests of the tropical kind, are good farmers and superb craftsmen. The pagoda form in temple architecture is claimed to have originated in this Himalayan kingdom before travelling to many lands in the Far East, including China and Japan...

ALI KAZMA ΕΚΘΕΣΗ "SAFE HOME"

Η γκαλερί Qbox παρουσιάζει την τρίτη ατομική έκθεση

του Τούρκου καλλιτέχνη Ali Kazma στην Ελλάδα.

Στην προκείμενη έκθεση, με τίτλο "Safe Home", ο καλλιτέχνης έχει επιλέξει να παρουσιάσει το τελευταίο του video Safe (2016), το ευρέως γνωστό έργο Home (2014), και το Prison (2013) που αποτελεί μέρος της σειράς "Resistance" η οποία πρωτοπαρουσιάστηκε στη Μπιενάλε της Βενετίας.

αφιερωμένο στα comics, ανοίγει τις πύλες του για 

12η συνεχή χρονιά με ελεύθερη είσοδο. 

Στις 7, 8 και 9 Απριλίου 2017, στην Ελληνοαμερικανική Ένωση, το Γαλλικό Ινστιτούτο Ελλάδος και τους πλησίον δρόμους, πλήθος εκδηλώσεων μετατρέπουν μια ολόκληρη γειτονιά της Νεάπολης σε πραγματική γιορτή των comics.
